Bartlett Inn NH Snow Dog

Spring Ski Specials are alive and well at the Bartlett Inn. This week in Bartlett NH and Attitash Resort Area we have had over 16 inches of new snow.  The ski conditions for downhill skiing and cross country skiing are the best they have been all season in Bartlett.  Innkeepers and the kids did venture out to Bretton Woods on Sunday afternoon and found that even thought it is only 16 miles away the other side of Crawford Notch NH in Bretton Woods and Bethlehem did not get blessed with the same snow as Bartlett this week.  Best place to ski this March as of today’s conditions downhill Attitash Bear Peak in Bartlett NH and for Cross Country Bear Notch Ski Touring.  (BTW Bear Notch has Dog Friendly Ski Trails and The Bartlett Inn has dog friendly Cottage Rooms!)  For our Spring ski deals we take as much as 20% off room rates and couple it with $5-$28 discounts on lift tickets.  We have free xc and tubing tickets for Great Glen Trails in Pinkham Notch which also have good snow conditions right now. Call 1 800 292 2353 to book your Spring Ski Deals today!

Attitash Snow Board

Powder Day Attitash SNow Board

Innkeepers Nick and Miriam at the Bartlett Inn NH tested conditions yesterday; it really is part of our job!  We skied (actually snow boarded) at Attitash just 2 miles east of the Bartlett Inn on US Route 302.  It was nothing less than spectacular!  There was about a foot of new powder from Thursdays snowstorm in New Hampshire and we snowboarded Bear Peak in fantastic conditions ungroomed powder on many of the trails.  It has already snowed another 3 inches this morning and still coming.  The White Mountains of New Hampshire often get snow when most of the rest of New England gets rain or less snow.  Come enjoy Spring Skiing at the Bartlett Inn located close to Attitash, Bretton Woods, Wildcat, Cranmore and Black Mountains.  We have great Spring Ski NH Deals saving you on the room and the lift tickets so call 1 800 292 2353.

Fantastic February Skiing in Bartlett New Hampshire

Bartlett Inn NH Jacuzzi Tub Winter

Bartlett Inn NH Jacuzzi Tub Winter

Guests at the Bartlett Inn in Bartlett New Hampshire this first weekend in February 2012 gave such great feedback on ski conditions at the NH Cross Country Ski areas and the NH Downhill Ski Resorts that we thought we should let all the skiers out there know so they do not miss out on skiing this winter.  We had guests come stay and ski with us from Vermont, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, Southern NH, Maryland and Florida.  Even though there is little snow in Southern New Hampshire, Vermont and most of New England, Bartlett NH, near North Conway NH, has great snow!
For Cross Country skiing in New Hampshire Bear Notch Ski Touring had the best conditions followed by Bretton Woods and Jackson Ski Touring in Jackson NH. For alpine Skiing the best skiing feedback from guests was for Attitash Ski Resort in Bartlett NH and Bretton Woods NH.  Even thought there is no snow in your backyard…give us a call in Bartlett, White Mountains of New Hampshire.  Wehave plenty of snow to enjoy and great ski deals on both midweek and weekend skiing!  Call 1800 292 2353.

Spring Ski Adventures with Nick in the White Mountains of NH

Snowboard Bretton Woods Rosebrook Glades

Snowboard Bretton Woods Rosebrook Glades Powder and a View

Inn keepers work hard all winter with the dream of Spring skiing coming our way.  The slopes are empty and we often get many sunny and powder days to enjoy!  This week was a banner week for Innkeepers Nick and Mimi from the Bartlett Inn for New Hampshire Spring Skiing!  Where did we have our adventures?  The week started with snow and rain and snow and ice.  We snowboarded Cranmore North Conway NH on Tuesday and what a perfect choice.  As the day warmed up the conditions were awesome with semi firm corduroy.  The views were spectacular at the top with trees sparkling like diamonds in the sun. Wednesday we snowboarded at Bretton Woods NH.

Bretton Woods icy view of Mt Washington NH

Bretton had only 2 beginner lifts open Monday and Tuesday due to the ice storm but Wednesday they managed to open the top lifts and Rosebrook Glades lift!  These are the best glades in NH because they are not too steep or tight so intermediate skiers and boarders can have a lot of fun without chewing on bark!.  Since the lift had been closed until Wednesdayno one had skied the powder in the glades so we enjoyed the day cruising through the trees.  There was a thin layer of ice in between snow so there were some pretty spectacular wipe-outs but no injuries other than pride!! WE learned fast not to cut to deep but just ride the top powder and it save us a few cartwheels. Thursday started out awesome with 6 inches of powder at Attitash Ski Resort in Bartlett NH. We arrived early and snowboarding was better than skiing as my wife has the older skiis and they do not perform as easily on powder.  But by the end of the day a light mist of rain was falling, the powder had been packed down and skiing was a blast with soft bumps everywhere to give you air and land safely!  Another couple inches of snow last night and now it is raining lightly.  The NH Ski and Cross Country Ski Resorts plan to groom tonight once the rain stops and Saturday should be an awesome day for Spring skiing in NH! Come on up!  Give us a call and you can follow the Spring ski deals with Two for 1 at Cranmore, Bretton Woods and Cannon Mountain Too.  Attitash has Thursday 17 March 2011 St Patrick’s Day Lift Tickets for $17!

Snowing Again! In New Hampshire’s White Mountains

Well, 2010 ended and 2011 started with a slow bit of snow up in the NH White Mountains.  But Spring 2011 in coming in with a roar of Snow this week we have already had over a foot of new fluffy white snow and another 6-8 inches on the way today!  What is the saying?  Winter came in like a lamb and is going out with a roar! Come stay at the Bartlett Inn and enjoy Spring Ski and Stay Deals in New Hampshire this March 2011.  Wegot another 10 inches of lovely fluffy powder yesterday, 25 February, 2011 and expect more snow several days this week!  The conditions are terrific especially the first two weeks in March.  March is usually the time the innkeepers get their best skiing in because there are super discounts on lift tickets to Cranmore Mountain North Conway NH, Attitash Ski Resort Bartlett NH, Bretton Woods NH, Black Mountain NH and of course Wildcat NH which is usually most pleasurable in the spring – and the views are the best in New England Skiing! When guests stay in Bartlett NH they can also enjoy skiing in Maine.  It is only about a 40 minute scenic drive from Bartlett NH through Pinkham Notch to Sunday River Maine or acrossUS Rte 302 through Fryeburg Maine to  Shawnee Peak.  Sunday River is a larger ski mountain but both are family friendly and plenty for everyone to ski! Come stay for a day or a week  at the Bartlett Inn a great central location for New England Skiing.
