Ice Climbing NH is a popular winter activity in New Hampshire. There are many excellent locations in Crawford Notch State Park with well traveled and challenging ice routes. One of the most popular ice climbing routes is Frankenstein Cliffs and Arethusia Falls, the highest waterfalls in New Hampshire. These locations are just 6 miles West on US Route 302 from the Bartlett Inn.

Explore waterfalls or Mt Willard, with its spectacular panorama of Crawford Notch. Mt Washington and the high peaks of the Presidential Mountain range can be climbed from either Pinkham or Crawford Notch (and the Bartlett Inn is conveniently located right in between the two Notches).
